He Sat With Everyone

JESUS DIDN’T HAVE a favorites list.
He didn’t make charts.
He didn’t care who had the best clothes or the cleanest hands.

He sat with people who were rich.
He sat with people who were poor.
He sat with people who were loud, tired, silly, serious, sick, scared, quiet, forgotten.

If there was space on the ground,
He’d sit there too.

He didn’t ask, “Are you good enough?”
He just made sure you knew you belonged.

Everyone had a place near Jesus.
Even you.
