CHAPTER SEVENTY-SEVEN

The 2020s and Beyond

WELCOME TO THE live feed.
We’re not reading history anymore, we’re writing it.

And oh boy, what a chapter we’ve wandered into.

The 2020s started like a bad dystopian novel.
A virus locked down the planet.
Toilet paper became currency.
Zoom became church.
And somewhere in the noise, everything changed.

Not just the masks and the vaccines, but everything.
Reality got shaky.
Like someone started yanking on the curtain of the simulation.

Politics went full WWE.
Truth became optional.
Algorithms learned how to lie to you better than your ex.
And every crisis started overlapping.
Climate, economy, war, democracy, mental health, and AI…

We are living in the overlapping Venn diagram of every existential threat humanity’s ever cooked up.

And yet?

Somehow…

We’re still here.
Still scrolling.
Still laughing at memes and going to work and falling in love and screaming into the void.

That’s the wild part.
Even when the world looks like it’s on fire, life keeps happening.

The 2020s are the pivot decade.
The “before-and-after” line future historians will zoom in on.
Because this is the stretch where we decide:

Are we upgrading the software?
Or bricking the whole system?

AI isn’t coming, it’s here.
Climate isn’t a prediction, it’s a scoreboard.
Geopolitics isn’t chess anymore, it’s a glitchy battle royale.
And your brain?
It’s being fed through an attention blender 24/7.

So what’s the move?

It starts small.
Turn the noise down.
Talk to real people.
Touch grass.
Build something.
Teach someone.
Stay curious.
