CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

The Goblin Isn’t Evil

HE JUST WANTS more.
That’s all he’s ever wanted.

The Goblin isn’t out to hurt you. He doesn’t care if you’re happy. He doesn’t care if you’re miserable. He doesn’t care if your relationships are falling apart, or your focus is gone, or your body is breaking down.

He’s not a villain.
He’s a mechanism.

His only job is to push.
To pursue.
To chase.
To make you want.

He was built for survival, a spark in the dark to keep your species alive. And he did. You’re here because of him. We built fire, hunted mammoths, crossed oceans, cracked atoms, wrote books, built systems, and chased dreams all because something inside us kept saying: keep going.

The Goblin gave us progress.

And then the world changed.

Now, he’s overloaded.
He’s in every circuit, every screen, and every system.
Amplified. Automated. Industrialized.

He was never meant to run at this scale.
But no one told him to stop.

So now he’s just doing what he’s always done, just louder, faster, stronger.

More.

And the problem is…
So do you.

You want more focus.
More calm.
More love.
More freedom.
More clarity.
More peace.
More meaning.
More life.

And that wanting, that engine inside you, it’s not separate from the Goblin.

It is the Goblin.

You can’t kill him. You can’t delete him. You can’t outrun him.

You are him.

So what do you do with that?

That’s not this book.
This book wasn’t about answers.
It was about showing you the code.

Now you see the Goblin.
In your phone.
In your habits.
In your cravings.
In your culture.
In your skull.

He’s real.
He’s running the world.

And now?

You don’t have to pretend he’s not there.
