CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

He Laughed, A Lot

JESUS LAUGHED.
LIKE, a lot.

He laughed at silly stories.
He laughed when kids made up wild games.
He laughed when someone tripped —
and then helped them up, still giggling.

He wasn’t stiff.
He wasn’t serious all the time.

He told jokes.
He smiled with his whole face.
He loved joy so much,
people followed him just to feel it.

Happy Jesus wasn’t just holy.
He was happy.

And that joy?
It’s still echoing.
