CHAPTER FOUR
Islam - The Peace in Surrender
IT DIDN’T BEGIN in a palace.
It began in a cave on a mountain outside Mecca.
One man, quiet and alone, listening for something beyond himself.
And then the words came. Not from within, but from above.
Recite.
That was the beginning.
Of a book.
Of a rhythm.
Of a way of life.
Islam means surrender.
Not to fear.
But to peace.
The kind that only comes when you stop trying to control everything, and start listening instead.
They pause five times a day.
To stop. To breathe.
To face one direction.
To remember.
It’s not just prayer.
It’s discipline.
It’s connection.
It’s unity, when millions move at once, whispering the same words, bowing with the same breath.
The book is the Qur’an.
The guide is the Prophet.
The path is one of mercy, patience, and justice.
And though the world has tried to twist it, confuse it, and define it by noise instead of heart, its heart has never changed.
There is One.
And He is closer than your own heartbeat.
