What the Watchtower Actually Says
Chapter Eleven - What the Watchtower Says the Truth Is
Section 11 of 11
CHAPTER ELEVEN
What the Watchtower Says the Truth Is
THE WATCHTOWER TEACHES, “Jehovah’s Witnesses alone have the truth.”
“All other religions belong to Satan.”
“There is no salvation outside this organization.”
The message is repeated in every publication.
“Stay close to the organization.”
“Do not trust your own thinking.”
“Do not question Jehovah’s arrangement.”
Obedience brings life.
Disobedience brings death.
“Those who are loyal will survive Armageddon.”
“All others will be destroyed eternally.”
Armageddon is described as imminent.
Always near.
Never scheduled.
“Jehovah will strike in His time.”
“We must be ready at any hour.”
The Watchtower always warns.
“Do not listen to apostates.”
“Do not read their material.”
“They are agents of Satan.”
Doubt is sin.
Questioning is rebellion.
“Wait on Jehovah for new light.”
“Accept it when it comes.”
The truth is not a doctrine.
It is the organization itself.
“Where else would we go?”
“Only Jehovah’s Witnesses teach truth.”
“Only they will be saved.”
Baptism is a public vow.
“To obey Jehovah, Jesus, and His spirit-directed organization.”
There is no neutrality.
Faithful Witnesses are told, “Preach, obey, remain loyal.”
“Survive the end, enter paradise.”
No date is given.
No timeline promised.
But the end is always near.
The Watchtower continues.
The presses do not stop.
And new light may come at any time.
