What the Quran Actually Says
Chapter Eight - Satan, Djinn, and Judgment Day
Section 8 of 11
CHAPTER EIGHT
Satan, Djinn, and Judgment Day
IT STARTED WITH one refusal.
God made Adam.
He told the angels to bow.
They all bowed, except one.
Iblis.
He was made of fire, not clay.
He said he was better.
He refused.
God cursed him.
But Iblis asked for time.
God gave it.
Iblis swore:
“I will lead them astray.
From in front of them.
From behind them.
From the left and right.
Most of them will not be grateful.”
God said:
“Whoever follows you, Hell will be their home.”
Iblis isn’t alone.
The book says there are djinn, beings made of smokeless fire.
They live unseen.
They eat.
They marry.
They die.
Some believe.
Some don’t.
They heard the Quran once, and some said: “This is amazing. It guides to the truth.”
Others turned away.
Some whisper evil.
Some mislead.
Some lie.
But they’re not demons.
They’re just… another creation.
And then there’s the Day.
The one everything is building toward.
The Day of Judgment.
It begins with a trumpet.
The world ends.
Mountains fly.
The sky is torn.
The seas boil.
Everything dies.
Then the trumpet sounds again.
Everyone rises again, gathered together. Afraid. Waiting.
The book is brought forward, each soul’s record.
Nothing is missing.
Every word.
Every intention.
Every glance.
The scales are set.
If your good deeds are heavy, you pass.
If not, you fall.
Heaven is described in layers:
Gardens.
Shade.
Rivers of milk and honey.
Palaces.
Companions.
Peace.
No death.
No pain.
Just joy, forever.
Hell is described in fire:
Boiling water.
Chains.
Garments of molten metal.
Skin burned and replaced again and again.
Guards that do not show mercy.
Screaming.
No escape.
People will ask for one more chance.
They’ll say: “Send us back. We’ll do better.”
The answer is no.
The test was life.
Now it’s over.
But the book says God is just.
No soul will be wronged.
Not by a hair.
Not by a whisper.
He can forgive all sins.
Or punish as He wills.
But He doesn’t forget.
He doesn’t sleep.
His promise doesn’t change.
