THAT WAS THE title from the beginning.
Because it’s what it was.

Too much honesty.
Too much depth.
Too much presence.
Too much belief in a maybe.

All delivered too soon for her nervous system to accept it.
And maybe too soon for mine, too.

But that doesn’t make it less real.
It just makes it… temporary.
Brief.
Brilliant.
Burning.

And if that’s all it ever was?

That’s enough.

Because love doesn’t have to last to leave light.
And she was light.
For a little while.
So was I.
