Chapter Eleven - Nature Loves Courage

CHAPTER ELEVEN
Nature Loves Courage
OF ALL THE words Terence McKenna left behind, one quote keeps surfacing over and over, across posters, timelines, memes, and minds: “Nature loves courage. You make the commitment, and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles.”
To Terence, this wasn’t just poetry.
It was the code behind the universe.
He believed that reality isn’t fixed, but alive, responsive, and playful.
That when you step toward the unknown, it steps toward you.
Whether he was talking about mushrooms, language, death, or evolution, the message was always the same.
Be curious.
Be brave.
And never, ever forget that it’s all far stranger and more beautiful than you were told.
He didn’t leave behind a dogma; he left behind a permission slip to ask, trip, wonder, and listen.
The Mushroom Man wasn’t trying to sell you answers.
He just wanted you to look.
At the plants.
At the sky.
At yourself.
“You are a divine being. You matter, you count. You come from realms of unimaginable power and light, and you will return to those realms.”
- Terence McKenna
