CHAPTER NINETY
Kylo Ren: The Boy Who Broke the Bloodline
BEN SOLO WAS born into pressure. His parents were legends. His uncle was rebuilding the Jedi. And his blood carried the Skywalker name, which meant greatness or disaster.
He tried to be good. He really did. But everyone looked at him like a time bomb.
Luke trained him, but feared him. His parents loved him, but didn’t know what to do with him. Snoke offered clarity. Purpose. A way to cut through the confusion and be something definite.
So he chose Kylo Ren.
He thought if he broke everything, the past, his family, his name, maybe it would finally go quiet in his head. It didn’t. Killing Han didn’t help. Rising to Supreme Leader didn’t help. The rage just kept building.
Kylo wanted to be like Vader. But Vader never hated himself this much.
The mask wasn’t strength. It was shame.
The truth was, Ben Solo never stopped existing. And when he met Rey, really met her, it cracked through. Not because she saved him, but because he saw himself. Not as a legacy. Not as a weapon. Just as a person.
So he gave everything he had left.
Kylo Ren died on Exegol. Ben Solo died saving Rey. He never got peace. But for one moment, he got clarity.
He was never meant to rule.
He was just a scared kid trying to carry too much.
